THERAPY with HANAN

─── A bridge to emotional freedom

Just like we take care of our physical body by eating and exercising, and we cultivate our mental body by investing in our education and intellect, it is absolutely essential to foster our emotional body as well.

Emotional hygiene is very important, as being mindful of our mental health is the basis of our emotional stability. Nowadays, in this fast-paced world, we hardly take care of our emotions and our inner awareness is almost unnoticed.

I’m here for those who want to work on themselves. I will support you on your journey to inner peace and harmony.

During my counselling sessions, I combine techniques from modern psychotherapy methods and eastern ancient therapy methods. Mostly I use QTM (Quantum Transformation of Mind), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming).

Why is emotional hygiene so important?

Our body has multiple levels that are all linked to each other. It is absolutely essential to look after all levels to have a joyful life as we usually neglect our emotional and energetic bodies.

Physical body: It is our tangible body. Our bones, organs, skin, muscles, blood circulation, breathing, and digestion. Most of us know exactly how to take care of our physical bodies. Not only do we eat healthy food,  exercise, and manage regular check-ups, but we also treat ourselves by visiting wellness centres and hairdressers….

Mental body: Our intellect, values, and belief system. The way we learn, analyse information,  and transfer our thoughts into reality. We do our best to keep up with the best education, improve our skills, and gain new experiences. In today’s world, a huge eye is focused on the mental body. We value diplomas, titles, and achievements.

Emotional body: Resentment, jealousy, anger, shame, love, joy, sadness, and fear are the most common emotions we experience as a result of our thoughts and beliefs. Our emotions are the motivating motor as we act accordingly, either towards development or sometimes we head towards destruction.

Energetic body: Ancient cultures in Egypt, China, and India focused deeply on this aspect and provided valuable heritage to us. We learned that energy enters our body via chakras, and flows throughout our body via energy channels called Meridians. Trauma and negative experiences might block the energy flow which would have negative impacts on our physical and mental health. Nowadays, slowly but surely, we have come back to using the benefits of this ancient knowledge. One of the vastly used healing methods is acupuncture.
